Great Taste, the world’s most coveted food awards, which celebrates the very best in food and drink, has announced the Great Taste stars of 2013. Coppola Foods, a fourth generation Italian food family company from Salerno, in the South of Italy, was awarded a 1-star at Great Taste Award, for its Coppola Borlotti beans in water.

Judges have found the beans to be “very creamy” and with a very good texture. Judges were “pleased to get such a lot of flavour” from Borlotti, highlighting its “lovely earthy aroma and a nice nutty flavour”.
