The Great Taste Awards are known for their strict judging. Products are blind-tasted by over 500 culinary experts including chefs, buyers, food writers and retailers who judge solely on taste, ensuring only truly delicious and innovative products win.

Praised by the judges: "A soft and silky texture which melts in your mouth, this passata has been delicately prepared and it shows. The flavour of the tomatoes is rich and intense, with a sunny ripe flavour but also a natural sweetness and only the barest hint of acidity. A well made and delicings base for a variety of dishes.”

Our Coppola Passata boasts a rich texture and vibrant red color thanks to carefully sourced, sun-ripened tomatoes from Central and Southern Italy. Harvested at their peak between August and September, these tomatoes are meticulously sorted, sieved, and slow-cooked with just a touch of salt. Using only fresh tomatoes, we avoid concentrate, puree, added sugar, sweeteners, artificial flavors, thickeners, or firming agents. This commitment to pure ingredients ensures a versatile base that adds rich, authentic flavor to all your quick and delicious dishes.
