Great Taste, the world’s most coveted food awards, which celebrates the very best in food and drink, has announced the Great Taste stars of 2015. Coppola Foods, a fourth generation Italian food family company from Salerno, in the South of Italy, was awarded a 1-star at Great Taste award, for its D'ARCO Semi-dy cherry tomatoes.
Judges have found pointed out that Coppola Semi-dry tomatoes are "Attractive, well coloured large pieces of tomato in oil, with a nice clean aroma. A fine example of simple but good ingredients - the tomatoes have bite, depth of flavour and exactly the right level of sweetness. And how nice to find a product like this without any vinegar.” |
