Great Taste, the world’s most coveted food awards, which celebrates the very best in food and drink, has announced the Great Taste stars of 2015. Coppola Foods, a fourth generation Italian food family company from Salerno, in the South of Italy, was awarded a 1-star at Great Taste Award, for its Gusto Taralli Rosemary, Pizza and EVOO.
| Judges have found pointed out that Gusto Taralli Rosemary has “Good rosemary aroma to this little product and the flavour comes through well. There's a pleasant texture and judges quite like this little snack.”…”Judges enjoyed the little bread sticks and would have enjoyed them all the more with a glass of wine. Very moreish with a good balance of flavours.” Lovely shape, and a good even colour with flecks of rosemary. Crisp. Aroma and flavour of the herb comes through well.” |
While for Gusto Taralli Pizza and EVOO judges said that are "Attractive, in a rustic not mass-produced way, and really rather moreish. They are a good size and have a nice crunch. There is not one overwhelming flavour, but a good hint of olive oil. Something to enjoy with a chilled white wine and good olives.”A good example of its type, with an interesting shape, golden brown with an even bake. Good crisp texture. A useful product which could accompany cured meats and cheese.”
